Shape the dough any way you like.

Pizza Recipe for Beginners - Easy - Quick - Fun!
Makes 1 full size 14 inch Pizza - delicious - healthy!

Mixing
In a mixing bowl, whisk until frothy:
2 eggs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup lukewarm water (room temperature or 70°F)
Add all at once:
2 cups of Mix #5 - Astoria Mills Pizza & Bagel Mix
Mix well with a spoon until blended into a reasonably smooth batter
Rising
Cover and let dough rise at room temperature for 1 hour.
Go on Facebook or play Video Game.
Shaping & Topping
At this stage, pre-heat oven to 400°F ready for baking as shaping the dough only takes a minute.
Sprinkle a smooth surface with Astoria Mills Fine Flour - Mix #3. Scrape the dough out of the
mixing bowl onto the lightly dusted surface and sprinkle some more flour on top of the dough.
(Not too much flour at this stage, just enough to handle it so your hands don't stick),
Shape the dough into a ball. If the dough is still sticky, sprinkle it again with a little more flour.
This should only take about 30 seconds to a minute. Working with gluten free dough
Roll the ball of dough out onto a baking pan or a pizza stone.
Top with your favorite toppings.
Baking & Cooling
Place Pizza on bottom rack of oven preheated to 400°F
Bake for 30 minutes or until done.
Slice the pizza right after it comes out of the oven
Separate the slices slightly so it will cool faster.
Let cool 5 minutes before serving.

Bagels

Make dough as above. Shape into balls. Place thumb in middle of ball and roll a couple of times to get a hole in the center.
Place on waxed paper lined cookie sheets for 2nd rise.
Boil salted water in wok. Place 4 bagels at a time in boiling water just until they float to the surface, about 30 to 60 seconds.
With a slotted spoon, lift bagels out of boiling water and place on parchment paper lined baking sheets.
Sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds. Bake in 350 F. oven until done.
Ricotta Cheese & Spinach Calzone Pizza Pockets
Combine:
15 oz container ricotta cheese,
2 eggs,
Dash each -salt, pepper, oregano.
1 tblsp. chopped basil, 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese,
1 cup chopped spinach &
¼ cup chopped sundried tomatoes.
Blend together.
Roll out already risen dough made with Astoria Mills Pizza & Bagels Mix #5.
Make 6 inch wide circles of dough. Place filling in center of each circle and fold over. Seal edges by pinching dough together well.
Place Calzone on parchment paper lined cookie sheet and bake at 400F about 35 minutes until crust is golden.
Rest calzones about 5 minutes before eating to avoid burning mouth. You can make Calzones ahead of time.
Freeze and bake as needed. Place frozen Calzones in cold oven then turn on to bake.
Trina’s Amazing 'Apple Pizza' or Apfel Kuchen

Roll out dough made with Astoria Mills Pizza & Bagels Mix #5 after 1st rise.
Place on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Place fresh apple slices on top in rows. Bake at 350F for about 30 to 40 minutes.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture right out of oven. Serve slightly warm or at room temperature. Serve with whipped cream or plain.
Need it fresh for breakfast! Prep the whole thing the day before, cover, refrigerate and just bake off in the morning.
They will think you got up at 5 am! Try freshly pitted sour cherries or damson plums instead, for a heavenly treat.
Apple Raisin Fritter Donuts

Add to Pizza & Bagels Mix #5 dough after first rise, a little honey, some raisins & chopped apple.
Stir and drop by the spoonful into medium hot oil and fry for delicious donuts.
Remove from hot oil, drain on paper towels and roll in cinnamon sugar.
...Feel good and enjoy all the foods you love again.
